JPS Appreciates Free Takjil in Public Transportation during Ramadan

The Jakarta Public Service (JPS) appreciates and supports free trakjil services in the fasting month of Ramadan for public transportation users as has been done by PT Transportation Jakarta (Transjakarta).

This month is a month of blessing for Muslims, so I'm sure there are many parties who are willing to collaborate

JPS Executive Director Muhammad Syaiful Jihad said it was very helpful for passengers who are fasting. Moreover, there were a number of rules for breaking the menu that were allowed.

He explained it was something positive. Hence, other regional-owned enterprises (BUMD) engaged in the transportation sector could also soon do the same.

Free Takjil Available for Transjakarta Commuters during Ramadan

"Hopefully, the MRT and LRT may also do the same thing. This surely for the best service during Ramadan," he stated.

According to him, as a financing option, the provision of free takjil with a menu of water and dates could use corporate social responsibility (CSR).

"They can also collaborate with various parties who want to share with others in this month of Ramadan. This month is a month of blessing for Muslims, so I'm sure there are many parties who are willing to collaborate," he uttered.
